About me
Hello, my name is Gabriela Guzman and I'm Fort Worth, Texas. If you are wondering why my logo is seagull, fun fact that was my nickname my parents would call me as a kid "Gaviota" in spanish. That nickname came from a main protagonist of a very popular Telenovela ( Destillando Amor) that aired during the early 2000s.
I am 3D Animator who also dabbles in other 3D art aspects. One of my many bucket list things to do, is to collaborate with amazing talented artists and produce the next iconic masterpiece in media. Growing up with an addiction to TV , I had develop a strong connections towards the characters and the compelling stories told. I reach a point where I start questioning the behind the process of such amazing shows & movies , making me aware that I too want to be apart of that world.
When I'm not stuck to the screen. I like spending my time training for 5k,10k ,and half marathons. One day I would like to eventually run a marathon under 3 hours. Running to me is many things sometimes is relaxing and other times I wonder why do I this to myself.
In high school I was in track and in cross country but it wasn't till recently when running became a big part of my life. Picking up running help me rekindle my motivation and drive to improve.
Overall I enjoy witnessing breathtaking scenery and the adrenaline to keep pushing myself
My journey as a 3D Animator so far had many ups and down, at the end of the day I learned having friends and support is the key to accomplishing your goals.
Other than running , I also value trying and learning new things. One animated film that inspire me to be a 3D animator is Meet the Robisons (2007) has this quote at the very end of the movie
"Around here , we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward , opening up new doors and doing new things , because we're curious... and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."
Seeing this quote as young teen I was set on going to a creative art career. Revisiting this quote now as a undergrad senior has become my mantra and reminder of my goals and dreams.
